I am a highly experienced specialist physiotherapist with over 18 years of experience working within the NHS and private practice in elderly care, falls prevention, post-op rehab, neuro rehab, balance and vestibular rehab and working with people with dementia. I provide a bespoke and comprehensive physiotherapy assessment and a range of treatments for older people within their own homes or in a care home setting.
I graduated as a physiotherapist in 2005 and completed various rotations including neuro rehab, musculoskeletal, orthopaedics and respiratory. I initially worked in rehab unit in a hospital in Northamptonshire and then moved to community NHS teams in Hertfordshire, working within Intermediate care, rapid response and planned care teams where I gained extensive experience working with people with long-term neurological conditions, musculoskeletal post-surgical, palliative, falls, respiratory and general decline.
I use a holistic approach to physiotherapy, considering both physical and non-physical needs. My treatment goals are very much client-led, combining hands-on therapy with independent exercise programs to improve physical health and overall wellbeing, increase independence, and enhance the quality of life.
My caring, empathetic and friendly nature has won the hearts of many patients, sound knowledge of my profession as well as impeccable communication skills have motivated many people to recover from serious injuries and ailments.
