Do I need a referral from a doctor to see a physiotherapist at home?

No, in most cases you can book a physiotherapy treatment at home without a doctor’s referral.

Do you provide clinic-based physiotherapy services?

No, we don’t have a clinic. We are a fully mobile physiotherapy service, which means we come to your home or place of residence, making treatment more comfortable and convenient for you.

Initial Assessment - what's covered?

The initial assessment will consist of questions to fully understand you and your situation and then a comprehensive assessment will be completed to establish strength, balance, co-ordination, range of movement, neurological assessment plus any other relevant areas. This is to ensure your treatment plan addresses the specific problems you have so that you can reach your intended goal.

What should I wear during my physiotherapy appointment?

Anything that is comfortable for you to move your body in. Loose-fitting clothes such as gym shorts, yoga pants, or sweatpants are good choices. Avoid tight-fitting clothing that may restrict the movement.  If we are working on your walking, please ensure you wear footwear with a good grip.

What are your physiotherapy session prices?

Our first consultation and treatment session (60 minutes) costs £75.
Follow-up treatment sessions (45 minutes) are £70.

How can I pay?

You can pay by cash, card or cheque at the time of the visit or if you prefer, I will post or email an invoice out every 2 weeks which you can pay by bank transfer.

How do I cancel my Speedwell Physio appointment?

We require 24 hours’ notice if you would like to cancel your appointment. Otherwise, your session would be charged as normal. Please cancel your appointment by calling the contact number given on our website, or cancel directly with your therapist.
